HOW TO SHARE “40: The Series”
In partnership with Loyola Press and Loyola Productions, the Chicago-Detroit Province is offering a unique Lent program called “40: The Series”

We invite your participation and help in promoting and sharing this innovative program throughout your internal and external networks. Below you’ll find information, instructions, links, and downloadable assets to make posting and sharing “40” as easy for you as possible.

LEVELS OF PARTICIPATION

Basic Participation
At the very least, we’d be grateful if you:
• Post a link to 40theseries.com on your website.
• Use our optional headline copy: The Jesuits Invite You to Try Something New for Lent—“40: The Series”
• Use the artwork we’ve provided, or Click Here to request artwork assistance
• “Share” our Facebook posts and “retweet” from our Twitter feed; we’ll be promoting throughout Lent
• Spread the word about “40” through your channels, e.g., website, e-newsletter, social media, print, word of mouth
• Click here to download and share a PDF flier promoting “”40: The Series
• Distribute “40” promotional materials—we’ve created posters and post cards. Contact us and we’ll send you some.

“40: The Series” is a “post-apocalyptic drama” that begins Ash Wednesday with seven strangers who appear to be the only survivors of a mysterious event that has left Los Angeles empty, devoid of people. From there the story unfolds throughout Lent in 14 episodes—2 per week—that run 4 to 7 minutes apiece. Each episode acts as a Lenten allegory and is accompanied by reflection questions that help viewers make connections between the story line, scriptural references, and meaning of Lent. Check our website Mondays and Wednesdays to watch each new episode.

Miss an episode? Not to worry, 40 has its own website and YouTube Channel where you can catch past and recent episodes.

• Hang the promotional poster where people are sure to see them
• Use “40” and the educational materials in classrooms, parishes, retreats, etc.
